Chihuahua is the world’s smallest and natural breeds of dogs that has been named after the State of Chihuahua in Mexico. Chihuahua is a lively, charming, intelligent, affectionate and cute dog. Their weight should not be more than 6 pounds. Their height is in the range of 6-9 inches. Average lifespan of Chihuahua is 14-18 years. Chihuahua has a rounded apple-shaped head with a tiny and slightly pointed muzzle. Their body is robust and compact with well-sprung ribs.

Chihuahua‘ neck is slightly arched sloping into lean shoulders. Front legs are straight, short and square-shaped while hind legs are well-muscled and thin. Feet are small and dainty with well-split toes. Their long sickle-shaped tail is curly, looping over the back with the tip just touching the back. Large and erect ears are spaced far apart. Chinese Crested is a small hair-less breed of dogs, which comes in two varieties with and without fur. Size of Chinese crested is around 10 pounds in weight and 12 inches in height. Average lifespan is 10-12 years. Chinese crested has a soft, human-like skin as well as tufts of fur on its paws and tail. They have long and flowing hair on their head (that is why crested). Some of the breeds may also have fur on on their muzzle. They have a single coat that often has hairless parts on its body.

Coat of Chinese Crested Dog comes in a variety of colors ranging from pale flesh to black. Chinese crested dogs often lack full set of teeth. The overall appearance and look may vary with how the dog is groomed. With completely grown out fur on its face, it may resemble a terrier. Head of Chinese Crested looks like a fox in shape with a noticeable stop and finely tapering muzzle. Skull is slightly dome-shaped or rounded between its ears. Almond-shaped eyes are dark, alert and intense. Uncropped and triangularly shaped ears are spaced well to the sides of their head. Long and graceful is positioned high on the shoulders.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a toy breed of Spaniel type dogs. Essentially it is a small spaniel with a substantially silky coat of medium-length and long ears. Cavalier is considered as the largest dog from the entire toy breeds of dogs. However, it is quite small as compared to other spaniels. With their extremely affectionate nature, Cavaliers are often called as ‘the ultimate lap dogs‘.

Overall body of Cavaliers is small but well-balanced. Size of Cavalier is 8-10 pounds in weight and 12-13 inches in height. Unlike other spaniels, Cavalier has a full length tail, which is well-feathered with long hair. The tail is typically carried aloft when the Cavalier walks. Their head is nearly flat between the ears and has a well-defined nose. Its large and round ears gives him a characteristic and an endearing look. Their neck is long and slightly arched. Their long and large ears are drooping and with heavy feathers. Their coat is long and substantially silky and with slight waves. Their beautiful coat needs proper grooming in order to keep it in best conditions. Coat comes in four colors Blenheim, tri-color, black and tan and ruby.
