Borzoi is a quiet, intelligent, athletic and independent dog.

Hind legs are highly distinctive with double dewclaws on each foot leaving them with six toes. Rather than being a defect, double dewclaw remains as the hallmark of Beauceron dogs. Height of Beauceron is around 60-70 cm, weight is about 30-40 kg and lifespan is around 10-12 years.
