It consists of a surgical procedure whereby either all or a large part of the organ is removed from the dog’s body. While the term neutering is used particularly for males, for females the word spaying is commonly used. Neutering also prevents the incidences of female dogs developing mammary tumors in comparison to those who don’t. There are a variety of equipments that can be used to care for dogs on a regular basis. They are usually available in veterinary stores and retail outlets. Active ingredients present in the sentinel tablets such as Milbenycin Oxime and Lufenuron eliminates the tissue stage of hookworm, round worm and whipworms and prevents the flea eggs from hatching and maturing. Although side effects are rare some dogs may exhibit drowsiness, vomiting, diarrhea, depression, hives, itching and loss of appetite. If such symptoms are seen the veterinarian should be consulted immediately. Since worms are contagious and can occur in humans it is necessary to maintain good personal hygiene in dogs. They should not be fed uncooked meat and fish as it is one of the primary causes of worm infestations. Stools should also be cleaned on a regular basis to prevent re-infections.

They should be washed with flea repellent shampoo or be treated with neem oil. A flea comb can also be used to brush them off. When brushed the fleas get stuck between the fine teeth after which they should be soaked in soap water.For infected and bite parts what is popularly known as hot spots should be treated with aloe vera or tea tree oil mixed with water.

Puggle dogs are a cross breed between Beagle and Pugs. It was first bred in the US in the 1980’s by dog breeder Walter Haven. He is also credited for coining the name Puggle, which is a portmanteau name. Puggles are small breed of dogs which grow up to 10-15 inches tall and can weigh as far as 15-25 pounds. The shape of the dog may vary depending upon the degree of traits they inherit from their parents. Some puggles may inherit a curly tail, signature of a pug while the length may be equal to that of a Beagle.

Puggles usually have an under bite similar to that of a Pug. They are also easy to maintain. An occasional bath, shedding and nail trimming should keep them healthy. Flat Coated Retriever is a breed of gun dog from England that was developed as a retriever on both land and in the water. They are excellent family companions, often mingling and bonding very closely with all the family members. Indoors, they have relatively very low activity levels but outdoors they are very active, often running and retrieving tirelessly. Flat coated retrievers are lighter, faster and more elegant in appearance than other breeds of retrievers. They are outgoing, fearless, devoted and friendly dogs, making them suitable as excellent companion dogs.
Adult flat-coated retrievers should ideally weigh 55-75 pounds with a height of 23-25 inches. They have strong muscular jaws and relatively longer muzzles to allow for carrying birds and games. They have a unique head with a minimal stop and skull of approximately same length as muzzle. Almond-shaped and dark brown eyes reflect intelligent and friendly expressions. Ears are pendulous, small and lie close to the head. Coat is single, moderate length, dense and lustrous and comes in solid black or liver color. Body coat is of moderate length with long feathering on the back, legs, chest under-body, tail and feet.
