Bouvier Des Flandres is herding dog breeds that have originated in Flandres in Belgium. Originally developed for farm work, herding, cart pulling and cattle droving, Bouvier is nowadays also used as guard dog, police dog and pets. They are very large, athletic, muscular and powerful dogs with wonderful and gentle personalities. It gives impression of size and strength without clumsiness and heaviness.
Bouvier is a powerfully built and compact dog with rough coat. The coat is double and steel-wool type that can protect the dog while traveling through bushes or wooded areas. Coat is wavy, kinky and silken. Coat comes in fawn, black or grey brindle colors. Its head with a heavy beard and mustache and thick and long eyebrows is the most impressive part of the entire body. Head is covered with long and shaggy hair. Eyes beneath the heavy eyebrows are alert, dark, intelligent and lively. Muzzle is long and tapered with a large and well-developed nose. Ears are generally cropped to stand upright. It weighs around 75-90 pounds and stands tall between 23 to 28 inches. Average lifespan of Bouvier is about 10-12 years. They are rational, gentle, loyal and protective dogs. Its unique combination of various characteristic makes them ideally suitable as family pets and guard dogs.

Coat of Bedlington terriers comes in blue, sandy, liver, dark brown, black colors with tan markings. Curling and dense coat gives them a non-threatening look. The coat becomes paler as the dog grows older however; it never becomes white. It has a wedge shaped head with triangular and sparkling eyes. Front legs are closer together at the feet than at the elbows. With its uniquely light movement, Bedlington terrier appears floating above the ground. Bedlington terriers are seemingly harmless but in reality, they are savage fighters. Bedlington terriers are most suitable as loyal family companion dogs. Its height is around 40-42 cm and weight is around 10 kg. Bedlington terriers have an average lifespan of about 12-17 years.
