Doberman Pinscher is a breed of most common pets and domestic dogs, well known for their high intelligence and alertness. They are medium-sized, squarely shaped and muscular dogs. Doberman were extensively used as police dogs, watch dogs or guard dogs; however, nowadays, they are more used as companions and pet dogs. One of the most recognized breed, Doberman have also been subject to lots of media attention due to their extraordinary temperaments and role in the societies.

Doberman has a masculine and well-proportioned body with a noble appearance. Known for their strength, agility and endurance, fully grown Doberman should ideally weigh 75-100 and stand tall at 26-28 inches. Their length should be same as its height at withers and length of head, legs and neck should be in proportion to its body. Eyes are deep-set, dark and almond-shaped. Ears are erect and generally cropped. With their extraordinary power and strength, they can run at great speed. Doberman come in various combinations of colors including black, brown, blue, fawn and red. With a large and intimidating personality and ferocious and aggressive temperaments, Doberman are best suitable as personal protection dogs.

Brussels Griffon or Belgian Griffon, is a breed of toy dogs that have been named from the city of origin Brussels, Belgium. Belgian Griffon is a small dog with a prominent chin, small face and large wide-set eyes that provide an almost human-like expressions. They are sturdy with a well-balanced body and the breed gives an overall appearance of a square-proportioned dog. Head of Brussels Griffon is the most important and well-defined feature of the standard breed. Head should be round and large in proportion to the overall body.

Ears of Brussels Griffon are small, high-set yet well-apart and erect. Eyes are dark, large, wide-set and expressive. Nose is broad, black and placed at the same levels of eyes. The coat is harsh, wiry and dense with three distinct colors depending upon how the breed is developed. Colors could be black, red or reddish-brown and black and tan. With the qualities of alertness and inquisitiveness, Brussels Griffon is considered as the best companion dog. Weight is about 12-15 pounds and height is around 7-8 inches. Brussels Griffon lives for an average 12-15 years.
