The West Highland White Terrier or commonly referred to as Westies are amongst the breed of small sturdy dogs originated from Scotland. Puggle dogs are a cross breed between Beagle and Pugs. It was first bred in the US in the 1980’s by dog breeder Walter Haven. He is also credited for coining the name Puggle, which is a portmanteau name. Puggles are small breed of dogs which grow up to 10-15 inches tall and can weigh as far as 15-25 pounds. The shape of the dog may vary depending upon the degree of traits they inherit from their parents. Some puggles may inherit a curly tail, signature of a pug while the length may be equal to that of a Beagle.
