Chinese Crested is a small hair-less breed of dogs, which comes in two varieties with and without fur. Size of Chinese crested is around 10 pounds in weight and 12 inches in height. Average lifespan is 10-12 years. Chinese crested has a soft, human-like skin as well as tufts of fur on its paws and tail. They have long and flowing hair on their head (that is why crested). Some of the breeds may also have fur on on their muzzle. They have a single coat that often has hairless parts on its body.

Coat of Chinese Crested Dog comes in a variety of colors ranging from pale flesh to black. Chinese crested dogs often lack full set of teeth. The overall appearance and look may vary with how the dog is groomed. With completely grown out fur on its face, it may resemble a terrier. Head of Chinese Crested looks like a fox in shape with a noticeable stop and finely tapering muzzle. Skull is slightly dome-shaped or rounded between its ears. Almond-shaped eyes are dark, alert and intense. Uncropped and triangularly shaped ears are spaced well to the sides of their head. Long and graceful is positioned high on the shoulders.

Dalmatian is a breed of dog from Dalmatia, Croatia well known for noteworthy white coat with black or liver spots. Highly energetic Dalmatians are well-muscled, medium-sized and elegant dogs, which are slightly longer than tall. Generally, they are square-proportioned dogs with slightly taller at withers and a well-laid back shoulders. Their feet are round and compact with well-arched toes. Thin ears, set fairly high, taper toward the tip.

Fully grown dalmatians weigh 23-35 kg and stand tall around 20-24 inches. Puppies are born white without any spots, which gradually start appearing within few weeks of birth. Hairs are barbed at the ends, which tend to stick on the clothings, upholstery and almost all the kinds of fabric. The breed shed its hair almost year round and hence the owners must be prepared to clean up excessive amounts of dog hairs littering all over the house. White with black or liver spots is the most common coat color. In the past, Dalmatians were often used for guarding the borders of Dalmatia and even to this day, they possess distinctive guarding instinct.

Dachshund is a short-legged, elongated breeds of dogs from Germany. They belong to hound family of dogs. Dachshund was originally bred for hunting (scent, chase and flush)rabbits, badgers and other burrowing animals. Dachshund is a German word that literally means ‘badger dog‘. They are sometimes also called as wiener or sausage dogs due to their typical long and narrow build. Dachshund is long-bodies, well-built, muscular dog with short and stubby legs. They come in three varieties short-haired, long-haired and wired-haired and two sizes standard and miniature. Adult Dachshund weighs 20-28 pounds while a miniature weighs around 11 pounds. It is commonly said that a Dachshund is half-high of other dogs and one-and-a-half long than other dogs. Many people call them as two-dogs in one. Out of the three coat varieties, wired-haired is the least common. Dachshund come in vast varieties of colors and patterns. They are playful and fun dogs best known for their abilities to chase small animals, birds and tennis balls with great ferocity.

Coton De Tulear is a small breed of dogs from the city of Tulear in Madagascar, which is well known for its cottony textured coat. It has a very distinctive soft hair, a prominent black nose and large expressive eyes. They have very short and puffy legs. Coat is medium-long to long, fluffy and cotton-like, more of a hair than fur. Generally, the coat is pure white but some of the breeds have lemon colored coat on their ears and body.

Size of Coton De Tulear ranges from 4-6 kg in weight and 10-12 inches in height. They have round, wide-set and dark eyes with lively, intelligent and bright expressions in the eyes. Ears are high-set and triangularly shaped. They are playful, affectionate and intelligent breeds of dogs. Coton is a non-aggressive dog but it is very vocal, often grunting and making noises while playing with children. Due to a non-shedding coat, they need proper grooming and cleaning almost every day.
