Chow Chow is a breed of dog that was first developed in Mongolia about 4000 years ago and later on introduced into China. In Chinese language, it literally means ‘Puffy Lion Dog’. Chow Chow are most common companion dogs in China. Size of Chow Chow is 45-70 pounds in weight and 18-22 inches in height. Average lifespan of Chow Chow is 12-15 years.
