Curly coated retriever, tallest of all the retrievers, is a breed of dogs from England, which was originally developed for hunting of upland birds and waterfowl. Coton De Tulear is a small breed of dogs from the city of Tulear in Madagascar, which is well known for its cottony textured coat. It has a very distinctive soft hair, a prominent black nose and large expressive eyes. They have very short and puffy legs. Coat is medium-long to long, fluffy and cotton-like, more of a hair than fur. Generally, the coat is pure white but some of the breeds have lemon colored coat on their ears and body.

Size of Coton De Tulear ranges from 4-6 kg in weight and 10-12 inches in height. They have round, wide-set and dark eyes with lively, intelligent and bright expressions in the eyes. Ears are high-set and triangularly shaped. They are playful, affectionate and intelligent breeds of dogs. Coton is a non-aggressive dog but it is very vocal, often grunting and making noises while playing with children. Due to a non-shedding coat, they need proper grooming and cleaning almost every day.

Cocker Spaniel or American Cocker Spaniel, is a medium-sized breed of dog similar to English Cocker Spaniel. It was originally bred as gun dog in the United States; however, nowadays it is almost always used as a companion dog. In Canada and elsewhere, it is referred to as American Cocker Spaniel while in USA, it is called as Cocker Spaniel. The word cocker seems to have stemmed from the fact that it was used to hunt woodcock in England. Cocker spaniel breed was developed originally in UK and later on American cocker spaniel was recognized as a separate breed.

Cocker spaniel has a distinctly rounded head with a perfectly rounded dome of the skull. Long, low-set and drooping ears are covered by a long silky fur. Their eyes are dark, large and rounded. They have a medium long silky fur on the body and ears, which hangs down on the legs and belly. Coat is silky and flat, being short on the head and medium long on the body. Coat comes in various colors including solid black with tan points, tri-colored and other combinations. Ideal size of cocker spaniels is 15-30 pounds in weight and 14-16 inches in height.
